This magnificent album concludes a three part odyssey into—and beyond— a dystopian post-future of flooded ruins and lingering shreds of technology. With a gentle, shimmering mallsoft mixing style applied to varied music and industrial effects, the sound seems to be traveling through water and space. It is at once quietly intense, while being introspective and brooding. Most of all, it is starkly beautiful. This author highly recommends listening to the entire trilogy, but each album is extraordinary, and stands on its own as a listening experience, with this release as the crowning masterwork of the set.
